Profile of Department
The department of Electrical Engineering was established in 1981 with sanctioned intake of 60+3+6. Since its commencement, the primary objective of the department has been to impart quality education and training at the diploma level in various areas of Electrical Engineering with broad emphasis on design aspects of technical skill development of students. Laboratory facilities are utilized by students for the extensive project work.
Motive of department is to prepare its students to meet new Industry challenges and making them aware of the recent advances in the technological field.
Department Strength
Good infrastructure, qualified & motivated staff and well-furnished classrooms and ICT Facilities are available.
Department is well equipped with laboratories to meet the requirement of various courses in Electrical engineering.
Good academic environment along co-curricular activities is provided.
Students are encouraged to have an active participation in Paper presentation, Project & Sport activities.
Expert lectures, Personality Development Programmes and Technical Workshops are conducted regularly to prepare student for future.
