The department of Electronics was established in 1983 with sanctioned intake of 60. Since its commencement, the primary objective of the department has been to impart quality education and training at the diploma level in various areas of Electronics Engineering with broad emphasis on design aspects of technical skill development of students. Laboratory facilities are utilized by students for the extensive project work.

Motive of department is to prepare its students to meet new Industry challenges and making them aware of the recent advances in the technological field.
