            It gives me immense pleasure in welcoming, on behalf of the Electrical Engineering Department of Puranmal Lahoti Government Polytechnic Latur.

           The Electrical Engineering Department was established in the year 1981 and has educated many qualified engineers, working at various well-known and reputed organizations in Maharashtra. The Department currently offers Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

           We have a team of qualified, experienced & dedicated teaching faculty. Department is supported by equally dedicated qualified laboratory staff.

           The introduction of this branch into the engineering scenario emphasizes on the study of basic electrical as well as the ever-changing Electrical field. The course content includes the basics of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Machines, Electrical Networks, Electrical Power Systems, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution.

          We at Puranmal Lahoti Government Polytechnic, Electrical Engineering Department are at the forefront, as far as high-quality engineering education is concerned. Our engineering and computer laboratories are well equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Our curriculum goes through regular revisions to incorporate new developments for imparting the course contents and knowledge beyond syllabus given in the MSBTE curriculum.

MOUs with industry, industrial visits, students training, expert lectures and arranging the various seminars & workshops are an integral part of our educational program.

         The department is always enthusiastic in conducting various seminars and workshops for the faculty and students to permeate advances in technology. All the students get full opportunity to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities leading to a holistic personality development.

           We produce diploma holder to become future leaders for industry, academia, government and the society in India whose vision is founded upon fundamental knowledge, creative and analytical skills, local/regional perspective and ethics. Through a good blend of course work and projects, the department endows students with the ability to apply knowledge of science, mathematics, and engineering to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, provide leadership and technical expertise, and practice engineering with ethical approaches and concern for society and environment.
